What is itA traditional Highland games with a full programme of field events such as athletics, heavy events, high jump, hammer, shot putt, weight over the bar, caber tossing, tug 'o war, tossing the sheaf, long jump, pillow fight, highland dancing, piping, children's races and novelty events for all ages, haggis hurling, wellie boot throwing. Side shows, refreshments, dog show and displays. See the 2007 What Was On page.
Entry prices for the 2008 Games: Adults - £6.00; Children and Concessions - £3.00; Family and full vehicle discounts available at the gate. Free parking. If any coach parties intend coming, please get in touch first. Cheaper rates apply. The 2008 games, our 27th, will be on Saturday the 26th of July in the grounds of Glenfeochan House, Kilmore, about five miles south of Oban in Argyll. Click here for a location map. Photographic CompetitionWe had a photographic competition at the 2007 Games and will probably have one at the 2008 Games which will be open to all, except professional photographers, please take a look at the 2007 Photographic Competition page.

Volunteers NeededAs with all events we need volunteers, if you can spare a few hours or so during the day or in the evening of the Thursday and/or Friday before the games and/or Sunday after, then please get in touch, this link may not work for some, if so, please use the Contact Us page and let us know if you'd like to help out. We can always do with a few more volunteers on the day.
Incentives, free stuff probably, still to be discussed with the committee. Advertising on our websiteWe'll soon be upgrading the site to advertising free, i.e. the ones in the right hand column will go. This will mean we can put up our own advertising at minimal cost to you - are you interested, if so please use the Contact Us page and we can discuss this further. The website is currently (@ 3rd of May, 2008) averaging 1307 hits a month. Maximum was 2608 last July, minimum was 799 last September. Getting To The Games By Bus, etc.
